Just like any other day, I came sprinting into class seconds before the last bell rang. All the students were out of their desks, as usual. Finally, the teacher made us all sit down. We worked on the "warm-up" for about 10 to 15 minutes, then several students found their friends again and began copying each other's homework. After a few minutes of this, the teacher (who will remaind unnamed) stood at the front of the class and scolded us all for being lazy. He then passed back our tests, and yelled at us for that too; a few students didn't answer the "easy" questions correctly. After that, he pulled out his stack of notes, went over them, and yelled at us for not understanding them even though he was quite clearly going over them much too fast. So he slowed down a little. Unfortunately though, he continued to yell at us because, now that half the class could understand him, we began correcting him. Apparently all the examples he had written down were
wrong. Genius material, isn't he?
About halfway through the notes, the class discussion turned to "how students arrive at school in the morning". Then it turned into "how student's parents drop them off in the morning". From there, it turned into "its the idiotic students fault for getting out of their parents' cars in the middle of the road. I don't want to hear you guys complaining about drivers who don't slow down; its
your faults that you can't figure out where to park your stupid cars!!" From here, we began discussing the math again. No one wanted to put up with his completely illogical reasoning.
We finished up the notes. Then we went over a few of the test corrections. When their were only ten minutes left in class, a majority of the students already had their materials packed up, and they were all on the edges of their seats praying for the bell to ring sooner. He yelled at us all the way out the door for being so "lazy", "idiotic" and "irresponsible".
